Phil Jonas shot a final round 67 to earn full exempt status on the European Senior Tour in 2013.
The South African-born B.C. golfer had five birdies and a single bogey on the Pinta Course at Pestana Golf Resort in Portugal on Thursday to finish tied for fifth to claim one of the six full time cards for this season.
His 67 equalled the lowest score of the day which was matched by just three other golfers.
Laforce from Saint-Gabriel-De-Brandon, Que., carded an even round of 71 to finish in a tie for seventh, which gives him conditional status and entry into a limited number of events in 2013.
Keir Smith of Toronto shot a final round 71 as well but missed earning conditional status by two strokes.
Ken Tarling (69) of Sanford, Ont., and Dave Wettlaufer (75) of Kitchener, Ont., also failed to earn any status on the European senior circuit.
David James of Scotland captured the Q-School tournament with a final round 68 and a four day total of 10 under par.
